Hand & body · the origin formula
La Crème Essentielle
N° 333 · Émulsion mains & silhouette
The cream the house was built on — remade batch after batch at the bench until it was genuinely clean, genuinely effective, and a genuine pleasure to use. Silky and cushioned, never greasy: it absorbs before you can wipe it off, and leaves hands and body soft for hours.
SQUALANE · HYALURONIC ACID · PANTHENOL

The dossier · formulated in the open
Thirteen ingredients. Every one explained, every source named.
This is the entire formula, in the exact descending order it appears on the jar. Nothing summarized, nothing withheld, nothing hiding behind “fragrance.”
The base every true cream is built on — steam-distilled so no chlorine, minerals or contaminants ride along, then charged with the humectants it carries into skin.
From distilled water.
The workhorse humectant — draws water into the upper layers of skin and holds it there, so softness lasts past the first hour. Many conventional lotions lean on petroleum-derived propylene glycol instead; ours is pressed from plants.
From vegetable oils only — never animal-derived. Part of our halal-conscious sourcing.
What binds water and oils into one stable, silken cream — with a structure that mimics skin's own lipids, so the emulsion absorbs like something skin recognises. Mass-market creams use ethoxylated PEG emulsifiers; we chose this PEG-free olive pair so even the emulsifier is clean.
From olive oil.
Not a drying alcohol — the opposite. A waxy, moisturising fatty alcohol that gives N° 333 its signature cushion and a soft, conditioned finish.
From plant oils (coconut & palm sources).
The classic emollient — rich in lauric fatty acids that soften and smooth where mineral oil would merely coat. It gives the cream its rich body.
From pressed coconut.
Rich in oleic fatty acids and phytosterols — one of the rare plant oils prized for how deeply it absorbs. Deeply softening for the dry, hard-working skin of hands and body.
From pressed avocado fruit.
Technically a liquid wax nearly identical to the sebum skin produces on its own — so skin reads it as its own, and it absorbs without a trace of grease. The weightless finish silicones imitate, done naturally.
From pressed jojoba seeds.
A mirror of the squalene your skin already makes — which is why it absorbs so completely and never sits greasy on the surface. The reason N° 333 disappears into skin instead of onto your phone screen.
From plants — fully plant-derived, never shark-derived.
The light, dry-touch glide most brands fake with silicones. This is our answer to "why does it feel so silky?" — a coconut-derived ester that does the job honestly and biodegrades cleanly.
From coconut oil.
The stable, water-soluble form of hyaluronic acid — binds many times its weight in water for a lasting, comfortably plumped look and feel. A face-serum active, given to your hands.
From vegan biofermentation — never animal-derived.
Converts to vitamin B5 on contact: calms visible redness, softens rough patches and helps skin hold on to moisture — the ingredient your hands will thank between washes.
From pro-vitamin B5, vegan-synthesized.
The antioxidant that protects the plant oils in the jar so the formula stays fresh — where conventional formulas reach for synthetic BHT — and lends skin its own conditioning benefit along the way.
From plant sources.
The preservative that keeps every jar fresh and safe. Most creams reach for parabens or phenoxyethanol here; we ferment radish root with lactic-acid cultures instead — protection without the compromise.
From radish root, fermented.
The ritual
Three steps, thirty seconds.
Warm
A pea-sized amount for hands, more for body. Warm it for a second between your palms.
Press
Press into skin rather than rubbing — the humectants do their drawing-in work best on slightly damp skin, right after washing.
Go
It absorbs in under a minute. No waiting, no greasy handshake, no film on your phone screen.
What we leave out
The list is short because the leave-out list is long.
No synthetic fragrance, no silicones, no parabens, no phenoxyethanol, no PEGs, no mineral oil, no dyes, no animal-derived ingredients. Every exclusion has a reason — and a replacement that works harder.

Questions, answered plainly
N° 333 — FAQ
What does it actually feel like?+
Silky and cushioned going on, gone in under a minute. The finish is soft-matte — conditioned skin, not coated skin. It was formulated to survive the real test: typing, phone screens, and handshakes right after applying.
Is it really fragrance-free — or just “unscented”?+
Truly fragrance-free. No perfume, and no masking fragrance hiding under “unscented.” What you may notice is the faint, natural scent of the plant oils themselves — which fades on skin.
Can I use it on my face?+
It’s formulated and tested as a hand & body cream — richer than a face formula needs to be. It’s gentle, but faces deserve their own chemistry: that’s exactly what La Crème Éclat and La Crème Calme are for. Join the list to hear when they arrive.
Is it suitable during pregnancy?+
The formula is fragrance-free and fully disclosed — every ingredient is listed above so you and your provider can review the complete list together. As with any skincare during pregnancy, we recommend consulting your provider; we’ll never make that call for you.
Is it halal?+
We formulate halal-conscious by design: vegetable-only glycerin, fermentation-derived hyaluronate, no animal-derived ingredients, no alcohol in the intoxicant sense (cetyl alcohol is a plant wax, chemically unrelated). We are not yet third-party certified — and we won’t use the word “certified” until we are.
How long does a jar last?+
With daily hand use plus a few body applications a week, most people finish 120 ml in roughly two to three months. Once opened, use within six months for peak freshness.
